Arwen, also known as Evenstar, is a half-elf and is the daughter of Elrond and Celebrian. Arwen falls in love with Aragorn and chooses to leave her immortal life in order to marry Aragorn and gives him the Arwen Evenstar Pendant. During the War of the Ring, Elrond tries to get Arwen to go to the undying lands, but she refuses and decides to wait for Aragorn's return. After the War of the Ring Arwen marries Aragorn and becomes the Queen of Gondor. Aragorn and Arwen have a son named Eldarion and several daughters.
